When she gets home her husband asks her how the interview went

Yeah, well I think. They said they’ll let me know by the end next week as they have other people to interview too. I'm nervous, the head of department was good, he made me feel calm. That's why I'm nervous because I want it.

She playfully pushes him away and says Just like Julia Roberts I don't kiss my clients on the lips

She gives him a look and says yeah, you're not that bad as she raises her eyebrows, smiles and wraps her arms around his neck.

She wakes up to an empty bed to a note on her husband's side of the bed. It reads Let's go out Friday night. Wherever you want. You pick. It's my turn to cook tonight. You're gonna love it xx

She smiles and carefully folds the note up and leaves it in the bedside drawer along with the other notes he leaves her regularly.

She gets up and makes a strong cup of coffee- black, no sugar and Marmalade toast. After she's had breakfast she gets dressed, making a conscious effort to pick something sexy.

When she's walking to his apartment she can't actually believe she's doing this. Then she reminds herself that she's only picking up a vinyl for a friend.

She's knocks at his door and after what seems like forever he answers

Oh hey

Hi. She pushes past him and dumps herself down on his couch

So…what genre are you interested in?

This amuses him and he plants himself on a chair opposite from her
